I've removed all my art due to the weirdness going on. DA has highly questionable practices that I don't agree with, and the removal of staff in the manner in which it was done was the last straw.
Tokyo Pop rejected me. They claim it was because they didn't want another fantasy story, but my inside ear says otherwise. Just means I have to try again...
If you want to read the letter and Aaron's reply over it: [link]
Yeah, still waiting. Aaron says that the submissions editor at Tokyo Pop might not look at the email address I've been using a lot. That boggles me.. what? Post an email addy on the web page for people to contact you, and then ignore it? c.c;
You know, I did a test today. I had 3399 views when I submitted a new picture. In checking back the picture has 19 full page views, but my count only went up by three. I'm now at 3402.
Does anyone have any idea how this all works? Is there some special counting system that I'm not aware of? c.c
I other news I've heard from my friend at Tokyo Pop that the Submissions Editor Mark loved my work. However I've not even received word back about it having arrived. I've emailed about it, asking if they got my work, but no replies at all. This is making me really frustrated. u.u
